Is anyone else obsessed with the DIY altoid wallet trend? I know it’s been around for a minute but, let me tell you, I am still as into it as ever.
If you follow me on TikTok, I’m sure you already know this. Your girl has made many videos featuring my tin upcycles! However, I realised I haven’t shared any of those CRAFT projects on this website or my Pinterest community – and the time has come to fix that.
1. DIY An Altoid Tin Wallet
My first project is very true to the trend: making a mini wallet to store your everyday essentials in!
These are the perfect size for slipping into a small bag – I keep one in my cross-body everyday bag – and they’re actually really convenient.
2. Use tins as storage for pressed flowers
Another great – and very simple – use for old tins is to use them as storage for your craft supplies.
As a scrapbooking girly, I have so many little paper supplies lying around and every time I find a cute storage solution I internally cheerlead.
3. Create a DIY wallet as a gift for a friend
Anyone following me on social media over Christmas (and honestly the three months leading up to it) knows I’m obsessed with a DIY gift. It’s just so much more personal and thoughtful than buying something from a store.
The first altoid tin wallet I made was actually done as a gift. And I still think it’s adorable!

ur welcome xx
4. Store art supplies like oil pastels in tins
.
And another cute storage idea!
This is especially useful if you’re an artist on the go because it keeps messy supplies like oil pastels contained but portable. (How cute would an art at the park style girls-day be, by the way?)
5. DIY A Mini Scrapbooking Gift Tin
My last upcycled tin project is another gift – and it’s probably the most fun craft yet!
I’ve recently got into pen-palling and it’s been so fun to make little envelope-sized gifts to go with my letters. I turned an old chocolate tin into a mini scrapbooking gift set, complete with stickers and decorative papers.

And that’s a quick roundup of some of my favourite little tin projects! I hope you enjoyed this post – don’t forget to share it if you do.
